About UBU Team
UBU Team was founded to address the shortage of suitable, quality NDIS support in our community. Our director, Jaz, relies daily on the NDIS and her own support workers. Her firsthand struggle to access age-appropriate and meaningful activities for people with disabilities inspired her to start UBU Team.
Jaz has a background in disability, mental health, and nursing. Her own disability journey began in 2018, becoming an NDIS participant in 2020. She met others facing similar struggles in finding meaningful and age-appropriate community activities.
With the support of her close network, Jaz now leads UBU Team to benefit those like her, promoting social inclusion in recreation, education, and employment. She is dedicated to training her staff to provide the highest levels of support.
At UBU Team, we believe in continuous improvement. We encourage clients and staff to participate in meetings and forums to ensure we remain up-to-date and maintain strong, supportive relationships.
